with social & environmental performance. The code of ethics is explained below:
Policy Statement
We are committed in all our actions to benefit the economic development of the countries
in which we operate. We will not engage in any activity that adversely affects such
an objective.
We will not undertake any project or activity to the detriment of the nation‘s interests,
or those that will have any adverse impact on the social and cultural life patterns
of its citizens.
All Life Group Organisations shall conduct our business affairs in accordance with the economic, development
and foreign policies, objectives and priorities of the nation‘s government, and
shall strive to make a positive contribution to the achievement of such goals at
the international, national and regional level, as appropriate.
All Life Group Organisations shall encourage local capacity building through close co-operation with the local community,
including business interests, as well as developing the organisation‘s activities
in domestic and foreign markets, consistent with the need for sound commercial practice.
All Life Group Organisations shall take appropriate measures including installation
and maintenance of pollution control equipments, training of employees, warnings
signs, etc., to keep pollution under the limits prescribed under any law for the
time being in force at the place where
the facility is located.
All Life Group Organisations, shall shall gather appropriate data relating to pollution
and take corrective actions if required. They shall conduct life cycle analysis
and encourage use of biologically degradable materials.
All Life Group Organisations shall establish a procedure for safe treatment/handling
of industrial waste and hazardous substances.
All Life Group Organisations shall take appropriate measures to conserve energy
(electricity and fuel) and encourage use of energy saving equipments and renewal
energy in all its facilities. They shall take appropriate measures to conserve natural
resources like minerals, ores, and water. In case wastage is unavoidable, then alternate
use of wastage shall be explored.
Code for Responsible Person
The responsible persons are required to work within the framework of above defined
policy. Seperate Process Manuals are being hosted on EMS Enabled Websites of concerned
Life Group Organisation. The responsible persons hall use full features of EMS so
that public safety and security is ensured.
The responsible persons shall prominently display all environmental & social
risks and safetly procedures to be followed by stakeholders in local languages.
Disclosure Requirements
NGOs and Individuals seeking donations/ funds for social projects from Life Group
Organisation may be required to submit project proposal in prescribed format. These
may also be required to submit progres details from time to time.

Reporting Breach of Code
All Life Group Websites carry link to this Ethics Website and a form link is
provided to report matters relating to breach ethics codes mentioned on this website.
We are committed to ethics for shared prosperity. If you see any person breaking

Dispute Resolution Mechanism
As far as practical people affected by actions of Life Group Organisations and supporting
NGOs or unorganised bodies shall workout a peaceful win-win formula for the benefit
of all people associated with the concerned organsation. They must avoid destructive
and violent conflicts because this badly affects the livelihood of many employees
and partners. In case the issue is not resolved at the organisation level then the
same may be referred to Life Group Ethics Committee that will workout a solution.
All disputes arising out of agreements with assisted NGOs shall be resolved first through
conciliation and finally by arbitration as per provision of law relating to conciliation
and arbitration for the time being in force at New Delhi, India in English or Hindi
language at New Delhi, India by Sole Conciliator or Arbitrator.
There are two level of dispute resolution. First at Organisation Level where dispute
has arisen and Second at Life Group Dispute Resolution Committee.
